The countryside and quiet of Ferage, a hamlet of less than twenty people, situated in the very heart of the gentle Famenne en Ardennes grasslands, make it an ideal place to relax. A tree that is several centuries old dominates the scene, just in front of the cottage.
The region offers a wide range of activities: over 150 km of signposted footpaths in the forest (for walkers and bike riders), horse riding close by, kayaking on the Lesse from Houyet (3 km away), rock climbing at the famous Freyr site (12 km away), Furfooz archaeological sites (15 km), history and tourist visits to Dinant and Namur citadels (20-50 km away), Han caves (15 km), not forgetting compulsory stops to sample the fine food.
