Liepgarten borders on the south-west edge of state-recognised resort town of Ueckermünde. It is well-connected to hiking and cycling trails and skirts the western bank of the lower Uecker all the way to the Ueckermünder Heide heath.
Here you can expect a charming harbour town with a lovingly restored town centre, a palace and the beautiful white sandy beaches of Stettiner Haff.
