All of the en suite rooms are equipped with modern comforts and facilities which have been combined with the existing period features. Each room has a TV, tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water and complimentary chocolates and biscuits.
Conveniently located on the A40, in the centre of the town, Penygawse is within walking distance of many restaurants and bars.

A large and varied breakfast is included in the price and is served in the Victorian tearooms. The ancient market town of Llandovery is located in the upper Tywi Valley, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Llandovery means The Church Amidst the Waters and the town takes its name from the Towi and the Bran rivers, which flank it, and the Y Bawddwr, which meanders through the town centre.
The guest house is centrally located, right in the heart of the town. There are numerous restaurants and public houses within 5 minutes’ walk of the property. The train station is just a 10-minute walk away. The station offers travel to and from London, via Swansea. This route also runs north to Shrewsbury, along the Heart of Wales railway line. This journey makes for a great day out.
